Do I need to show my old passport when re-entering Thailand if I have an extended stay?

Hi could someone tell me if the stamp on the right is essentially the one on the left but more simple? The one on the left is the visa from my old passport, the stamp on the one on the right was put on last time I came back to Thailand. Do I still have to show my old passport when I re-enter again? Thank you.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The stamp on the right is simply an entry stamp linked to your re-entry permit and extension of stay. Unlike a visa obtained from a consulate, it is essential to transfer the entry stamp and re-entry permit to your new passport after the New Year's holiday, as you won't need to show the old passport when you re-enter.

NOPE, the stamp on the right is only an ENTRY stamp <- that you got from the extension and by having a re-entry permit

Once the New Year's Holiday is over you need to GO to the immigration office that issued that extension and get the extension of stay and the re-entry permit stamp MOVED into your new passport

There is no show both when you travel deal like when you have a VISA from a thai consulate 😕 On extensions w/re-entry permits you need to get the stamps transferred to your new passport

man, that's totally strange 😮 In theory they should have told you the first time you stamped in or out on the new passport you needed to go transfer the stamps 😮

I'd certainly get a hold of your school after the holiday and get them moved. It really shouldn't work like that (not at all except the first time IF you got a new passprot while you were out of the country)

I notice you have an extension based on being a teacher at Shrewsbury Int'l School and you got that extension via "mobile service" <- which means they came to your school and pounded out the extensions for the teachers like they do at NIST and other international schools.

You would get the stamps transferred at Chaengwattana unless the immigration office has a visit scheduled to your school where they might move the stamps for you
