Do i need the new digital tourist visa for 2 weeks holiday stay in May. i'm from Australia. Do i need a visa ?

Answer summary

For a 2-week holiday stay in Thailand, Australians do not require a visa as long as they comply with the entry requirements, which now include filling out an electronic digital entry card. There's no new digital tourist visa being introduced, instead, the electronic card is simply a digitized version of a previously paper form.

It shows up like this when you try to put the arrival date in . You can only select a highlighted date . In this case day zero is 9 April and day 3 is 12th April. You cannot select dates outside the window.

There is no "new digital tourist visa."

EVERYONE travelling to Thailand that isn't a Thai citizen will have to fill out an electronic digital entry card. It's just replacing an old paper form they used to hand out on the plane.

it can be completed any time within 3 days of arrival. There will be wifi and kiosks at the airport if you don't do it ahead of time

As for convict status you sound like a yank out of tune

are you seriously not able to fill out a simple form? I know convict’s are not the sharpest tools in the shed but really?

i have thai friends in Bkk and they couldn't understand it either. Gonna be big problems with this stupidity. thanks for your advice. How did you hear about the 3 day window?

I think you need to try and count again. That's a lot more than 3 days
