Can I apply for a DTV visa while staying in Vietnam after entering Thailand on a tourist visa?

Good afternoon,

Will be entering Thailand on a 60-day tourist visa next week.

But would like to apply for my DTV visa (meet all the criteria! ).

The lady from the embassy said, in order to apply and get approved, you are not allowed to be in Thailand during that period.

Is it possible to stay within the application/completion for the period in Vietnam? And then to be allowed to travel to Thailand with DTV again?

Werde nächste Woche mit einem 60 Tage Tourist Visum nach Thailand einreisen.

Möchte aber gerne mein DTV Visum beantragen (erfülle alle Kriterien!). 

Die Dame von der Botschaft meinte, um es zu beantragen und genehmigt zu bekommen, darf man in dem Zeitraum nicht in Thailand sein.

Ist es möglich innerhalb der Beantragung/Fertigstellung für den Zeitraum in Vietnam zu bleiben? Und dann mit Zuteilung wieder mit dem DTV nach Thailand einreisen zu dürfen?

Why not apply in Germany, before going to Thailand.

The Thai Embassy in Germany, know everything about documents issued in Germany, then misunderstanding /translation of the documents can be be avoided.

Also much easier to apply by E-visa from the comfort of your home, where you can take a break, during the proces if something needs clarification or additional questions can be answered, before continuring the process from where you left of.

It's correct. You can only apply for the DTV from a Thai embassy, and there are no Thai embassies inside of Thailand. You can travel to a Thai embassy, apply there, and then return to Thailand with the DTV you received.

You know if I can stay in Vietnam or Indo, apply my E-Visa on German Embassy Website & then return with the DTV? Or I must stay in GER?

You must apply to the Thai embassy where you are at physically. If you are not in Germany, you cannot apply in Germany.

Last question, when I’m apply from this country I’m currently stay I can have my 500.000 BHT Balance on my German Bank Account or need a Bank Account in the currently country I stay?

Any bank account should be okay, but they might require you to translate the bank statement to english if it's not already.
