Can someone please definitively answer this question. Now that South Africans cannot apply for Thai tourist visa outside of South Africa can we still get 30 days visa free entry AND EXTEND BY 30 DAYS FROM WITHIN THAILAND??? Or had that changed as well?? I can't seem to find the answer to this question anywhere online. Please help

TLDR : Answer Summary
The post raises concerns about the current status of visa regulations for South Africans traveling to Thailand. It specifically inquires whether South Africans can still enter Thailand without a visa for 30 days and then extend their stay by another 30 days from within the country, following claims that they can no longer apply for a tourist visa outside South Africa. The comments provide varying information regarding visa applications from different countries and stress the difficulty of finding up-to-date information online.

Firstly: where you get that info from that SA can not apply Tourist Visa outside SA? This is wrong info. You can just not apply in KL.

Even worse, Penang seems to be no problem and is the Consulate controlled by the Embassy in KL.

No idea why KL would tell him it was everywhere in that case? None of these Embassys and consulates seem to implement anything at the same time.

I know, but it looks like it changed only in KL. Month ago 1 report about Non B visa, but he got e-mail he can now come back to pick it up.
