TM30 help.

Hi,

I have a friend coming to visit me for two weeks back end of December. She is a UK citizen. I need to declare her for TM30 when she stays with me, is this possible online? I heard you had to go to immigration, buts that’s rather far. I will if needs be, trying to think of easier solutions.

What documents will I also need to complete said tm30 for my friend.

Thank you

TLDR : Answer Summary
A user asked about declaring a friend's stay under the TM30 form in Thailand for a two-week visit. Comments advised that since the friend is a UK citizen on a visa exemption, TM30 declaration may not be necessary for her short stay. Users suggested that if the host is the property owner, they could register and submit TM30 online, needing specific documents like the house book and ID card.

If your friend is only staying 2 weeks she isn't going to need an extension from Immigration, so I wouldn't bother doing a TM30.

If only visiting you for 2 weeks don't bother as she is on a visa exempt for 30 days not an issue 😉

Thank you. She is only staying two weeks for a visit, absolutely not extending.

the TM30 is only ever needed if you're doing something at immigration so if your friend will just arrive then leave there's not really any reason to worry about it. While technically still required, practically safe to ignore it.

I agree I would not bother, unless doing an extension which said only coming 2 weeks so not needed.
