Hi all i read the latest 5 june thread about TM30 online, and read everything , and have done everything , but it still does not allow me too access , so i will have too go too report in person . My question as i have used my thai id card and not my passport too check in the hotel will it show up on immigration records, if using an id card does not show on their records it will save me a long drive , does anybody know if it does or does not thanks

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is inquiring about the implications of using a Thai ID card instead of a passport when checking into a hotel in relation to immigration records and the TM30 filing. Responses indicate that the immigration office primarily focuses on current addresses rather than past filings, and using an ID card generally does not affect their records.

Using an ID card won’t show up anywhere but their own records.

Hotels can be fined up to 10.000 Thb a foreign guest for not register them at Immigration. Please be so nice to provide the needed documents, thanks in advance.

The immigration office doesn't care about past times when a TM30 should have been filed, only the current address you're staying at.

MOST immigration offices went to you needing to file a TM30 ONLY when you come back in from out of the country NOT when you travel around thailand.

Check with your immigration office to see how they handle it
