TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is inquiring about the implications of using a Thai ID card instead of a passport when checking into a hotel in relation to immigration records and the TM30 filing. Responses indicate that the immigration office primarily focuses on current addresses rather than past filings, and using an ID card generally does not affect their records.
Hotels can be fined up to 10.000 Thb a foreign guest for not register them at Immigration. Please be so nice to provide the needed documents, thanks in advance.

The immigration office doesn't care about past times when a TM30 should have been filed, only the current address you're staying at.
