I have been renting the same place for a year and this place is the address registered on my TM30 when I originally got my Non O visa. I have not left Thailand but recently travelled domestically.
Do I have to re-register a new TM30 with a new checkin date as the date I got back home after the domestic travel?

TLDR : Answer Summary
The requirement to re-register your TM30 after domestic travel depends on the local immigration office's policies. Some offices ask for a new TM30 filing after any travel, while others may not require this even after international travel. In cases where you stay at a hotel during your domestic trip, a new TM30 will typically be filed for that temporary address, which ends the previous registration. Upon returning to your original address, the landlord or homeowner must file a new TM30 for you. In certain areas, such as Phuket, the process can be quick and straightforward if your residence hasn't changed.

In Phuket, you simply go through the drive through windo and if you haven't moved your residence, they will stamp your TM30 and this takes less than 5 minutes.
If you travel somewhere else and stay at a hotel, they will have made a new TM30 registration, telling the authorities, than you now stay a different place, and thereby ending the previous TM30.
To be re-registered on your “home”adress, the houseowner must make a new TM30, when you return.
Depends on the office and my office has changed from not wanting to wanting another registration quite recently. I think they now have a computer that makes it easier to see that you have been staying out of province.
