TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is seeking clarification on two points regarding their visa extension based on marriage to a Thai citizen in Pattaya: whether they need a current bank statement and if there is an online appointment system for the immigration office. Comments suggest that a bank statement is needed on the day of the application and for two months prior, and confirm that an online appointment can be made through the immigration website.

there IS an online appointment system for EVERY immigration office in the country. You access it from the main immigration page

the one you want is on this link

Central and Eastern Region (Immigration Division 3)

for some reason though people who did make appointments at the Jomtien office said they still had to queue up and it didn't help them thru any faster 🙁

Every year for my extensions in Pattaya I had to get bank statement/book update the same day as application.

You can check with your immigration office but the bank book update will most likely be required the same day not 1 day before.

I have a fixed account. I don’t touch it, but I can put money in or take it out - it just changes the interest period. BUT for immigration I have the bank “update” my bank book. Even without any activity, a balance forward entry is added. Ask your bank if they do that.

Unless I'm mistaken
@Peter ******
you can't put money in or take money out of a fixed deposit 😮 that's why it's "fixed" 😉

you just get the bank book updated and it usually will show only the last interest paid date and get the 5 or 6 line bank letter they write which looks like this

The immigration officer will know when they see the account that it's a fixed deposit one

1. If you are using the banked money method, you need bank account history for two months prior to the application date.

The attachment shows general information for a 1-year extension based on marriage to a Thai. As written in it, you definitely need to get the local immigration office to get the latest requirements.

2. You may be able to book online from here.
