TLDR : Answer Summary
The user inquired whether their 60-day extension of a Non-O visa, based on marriage, would be covered by the visa amnesty after its expiration on August 30th. Community members clarified that the visa amnesty is primarily applicable for short-term visas and advised extending the current visa to avoid any issues. They suggested applying for a one-year extension based on marriage to secure additional time to meet financial requirements and gather necessary documents.

Visa amnesty should be last option for you to stay in country. If you have another visa make sure all active. It is super safe than having amnesty. Because you current visa has regulation to back you up. But Amnesty not

You should apply for your 1year extension based on marriage. If you do it before August 30th, they should give you a 90 day extension at bt1900, giving you time to get your financial requirement in place, and get all the other documents together. At the very least you will get another 90 day extension. I'm pretty sure just taking your wife, marriage certificate and registration documents will do it. They will give you a letter of everything you will need to complete it before the 90 days ends.
an extension on top of the 60 day one I have already done?

Paul Collins, yes. What you are on now is simply to visit your family. You are entitled to apply for a formal one year extension based on marriage/Thai wife, as long as your current 60 day extension does not expire. For the financial requirement you must have bt400k in the bank for at least 2 months, or have bt40k at least coming in from overseas, and you can not do that on the 60 day extension. This is why they give a 90 day extension, so you have time to complete it. If you do not do it, then your extension simply expires. When I did it, I was having problems getting some of the documents, and they saw I had been getting the rest, so they gave me an extra 30 day extension added to the 90 days, but only because I had the financial part done, and was still waiting on my lease documents, with the owner's ID card copies, and his house registration book copy, with his name in it.
