Dears,

1.) Is it correct that a Retirement Visa (Non Imm-O) can be renewed 45 days prior to the expiring date?

2.) Bangkok/Chang Wattana do they have an online reservation system or I just go there?

Thanks very much in advance for the help/info.

Very appreciated !

TLDR : Answer Summary
The Retirement Visa (Non Imm-O) can be applied for a new extension 45 days prior to the expiration date of your current visa. It's important to note that this is considered a new application rather than a renewal, which requires the same documentation. Additionally, you can visit the Bangkok immigration office in person or make an online appointment to avoid long queues. An online appointment can be made through the official immigration website.

you aren't renewing anything ๐Ÿ˜ฎ you're applying for a whole new yearly extension (just like people do every year, year after year ๐Ÿ™‚ ) that's why the documentation is the same because it's a new application ๐Ÿ˜‰

You can apply for a new extension when you have 45 days or less left on your current stamp.

You can walk up and queue up with the zombie horde and wait it out OR you can make an online appointment and show up 15 minutes before the time and get seen without queuing, the choice is yours

Here's where you make an online appointment
