Does anyone know if you need a visa/extension of stay for a 20 month baby if mother already has a Non B? I understand from some you don't need one until they are 15 but others say they should have the extension of stay done the same as the parent.
TLDR : Answer Summary
In Thailand, if a baby is under 15 years old, they generally do not require a visa or an extension of stay, especially if the mother holds a Non-B visa. Many parents have confirmed that a baby born in Thailand does not need a visa or any immigration-related paperwork until they are older. It's also noted that overstaying is not penalized for children under 15 years of age, although they may receive an overstay stamp in their passport. For international travel, a passport will be needed, along with a Thai birth certificate.
