TLDR : Answer Summary
The ability to obtain a non-immigrant B visa while outside Thailand largely depends on the current visa status and the specific rules applicable to conducting business. It is suggested to contact the Thai consulate in your current country for guidance on whether your reasons align with the entry permissions required. Additionally, joining expat groups can provide insight into the current visa application process.
I deleted my earlier comment because you didn't bother to mention you're not IN thailand at this time :(
You need to contact the thai consulate in the country you're in and see IF "conducting business" is a good enough reason to request permission to be allowed to enter the country.
There is a process, it's not a "buy a visa, come to thailand" sort of thing anymore.
Join one of the f/b groups dedicated to foreigners stranded outside the country to see how the process works
it really amazes me the patience of Tod Daniels answering properly a few times a day and usually with no thanks.
Also if you go to the group Tod recomended and search my name you will see some detailed accounts of how i managed to get into the country. But you still get numpties asking same questions even though i put everything required phone numbers e mails etc etc.
Being actually one of the first non o allowed in as first wave was mainly workers.
A bit of research pen and paper then ask questions if you cannot find answers to avoid cluttering up ghe group.
So now got 15 months to avoid worrying about getting a visa so if that sucks so be it.
Research fully first and ask questions later
