What are the experiences and advice for obtaining a Non-O Visa at the Thai Consulate in Ho Chi Minh City?

Hi all, we're looking at going to Ho Chi Minh city in a couple of weeks to change my wife to a Non-O Visa. (Our 5 children will be following on her Visa, I am staying on my Ed Visa). Anyone had any bad experiences at the consulate there, or have any advice before we go please? Thanks in advance =)

There is no such thing as a "work visa" :/ There is a Non-Immigrant Type B <-(business) visa or a Non-Immigrant Type O <-(other) visa

Great place.

Tickets from CNX is cheap.

Thanks for the discussion and sharing.

what is the reason your wife is applying for a 90 day single entry Non-O visa?

Her current (medical) Visa runs out on May 25th. We are starting a ministry here, and need to move her to a work Visa in order to operate it.

My son got his non o visa there (married to a thai) about 6 weeks ago. They were friendly and helpful. No problems.
