TLDR : Answer Summary
The discussion revolves around whether having an overstay notification in a passport impacts the ability to apply for a Non-O visa in Thailand. It appears the general consensus is that a minor or previous overstay does not necessarily prevent one from applying, especially for retirement-related visas. However, some participants mentioned specific visa companies in Pattaya that may not process applications for those with overstay notifications. It's noted that paying any overstay fines is crucial, and for in-country applications, applicants should not currently be on overstay.

If you want to apply for an in-country non-immigrant visa, you can not currently be on overstay.

Minor overstays in the past shouldn't matter.

Maybe if your overstay fee is 20,000bht. Or you didnt pay it. Otherwise, no

what do you mean?

Assuming you’re referring to a Non O based on retirement. If so then overstay stamps are irrelevant (unless significant for a ban).
Stuart *********
Seems from replies that this may well be an office dependent rule. Unfortunately each office tends to have specific rules it will apply.
