# Can I get non immigrant visa if I had overstay in my history?
Hello guys!
I have a question according to people who had similar experience as I had now.
I had denge fever and stayed in hospital in a time when my visa expired. I was on overstay for 7 days. I paid the fine, got new 14 days visa, so I'm clear.
I've read some rumours that if you had overstay you will not get the working visa in Thailand.
Has anyone have some similar experience and got or didn't get working visa?
Thank you in advance! :)
TLDR : Answer Summary
The user inquired about the possibility of obtaining a Non-Immigrant Visa, specifically a working visa, after having a brief overstay due to health issues. They paid their fine and received a new visa but were concerned about rumors regarding the effects of overstaying on future visa applications. Comments from other users indicated that it is possible to apply for a Non-Immigrant Visa with the proper documentation from an employer and that the belief that an overstay completely disqualifies one from obtaining a working visa is false.
