Hi ya

I had a significant overstay in 2009 and paid the 20,000b when leaving the country. I haven't had any problems entering on holiday.

My question is would this affect any future retirement or marriage visa ?

TIA

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user inquires whether a significant overstay in Thailand in 2009, for which they paid a fine, would affect their eligibility for future retirement or marriage visas. A commenter responds that it shouldn't impact the user's ability to obtain either type of visa.
