Hi! Can my husband travel outside the country while his Non-O marriage visa extension is still being processed?
We’re planning to apply for the 1-year extension in early October, and I know it usually takes a couple of weeks for immigration to approve it. Just wondering if it’s possible for us to travel abroad during that time.
Thanks so much in advance!

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user inquires about the possibility of traveling outside Thailand while their husband's Non-O marriage visa extension is being processed. Comments from the community indicate that it is generally possible, but they emphasize the importance of obtaining a re-entry permit and adhering to the timeline outlined in the under consideration stamp that immigration provides. The under consideration period varies, with some mentioning a 21-day duration at specific immigration offices, such as the Changwatanna office in Bangkok. Community members recommend staying put until the extension process is finalized to avoid complications.

As long as you are back at immigration on the date they give you on the consideration stamp and make sure there is a re-entry stamp when he leaves.. personally id stay put till the consideration is done
And as mentioned on another side, you’ll need to make an agreement with the immigration as it’s quite common that they will do a house visit during the consideration period.
In all likeliness you'll be given an under consideration stamp for a period of time, possibly 30 days. If you bought a reentry permit after you've been given that stamp then you would have to return by the date on the under consideration stamp to get your full year inked in.
