Im coming over is August/September to live permanently in Hui Hin. I know all the rules about visas and money and bank accounts.
My question is that I will be applying for a Non O Married visa from the UK. We are having a house built and will not be ready to December. If we are in rented accommodation for a couple of months only, will the TM30 for the rented accommodation be okay for a married extension and soon as we move into our own house, my wife sets up the TM30 for me.
Will the IO still visit us in the rented accommodation? Cheers

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user plans to apply for a Non O Married visa while living in rented accommodation in Hua Hin until their house is completed. They are inquiring if the TM30 registration for the rented accommodation will suffice for the visa application and if immigration officers typically visit rented properties. The responses clarify that immigration officers do visit rented accommodations and advise on necessary documents, mentioning that visits can be unannounced.

Another sucker who is building a house (in Hua Hin sticks, can not even tell where the sea is). All that for a woman he sweeped from a Go Go bar, it is all hers.
Jim Davis you prick, I've been married for 17 yrs and together for 19. My wife has a degree. And even if she didn't it would not of bothered me. Keep your foul opinions to yourself.
We have lived in the UK for 10 years brought a house together. And before that lived in Thailand for 12 years me. 7 years with my wife.
Maybe you had a Thai girl before who treated you bad. But I can assure you they are in every country.
I have seen several people like you might be one of them. Their Thai wifes left them the day they moved in. Keeping the house (some were like haciendas) and rackethingt them, like 60,000 THB a month. The places were in the hills, could even be in landlocked Buriram. Worthless if you wanted to sell it. Then, that wife has to agree to that, the house is hers, not yours.
