TLDR : Answer Summary
The post discusses experiences related to Thai immigration in Sriracha conducting home visits to verify residency for various visa applications. Multiple commenters share their insights, indicating that while some visas, like marriage and retirement visas, tend to be checked more frequently, the likelihood of a visit can depend on the specific province and the immigration office in question. Various users recount their own experiences with home visits or checks by immigration officials, suggesting that it is a common practice but not guaranteed for all visa types.

had to find a neighbour to fill a form in and basically say they they would grass me up if I went travelling ffs, lived in same house 7 years and have never known this
Not that province, but the police came to visit my house and interview neighbors. Mine was for marriage visa. The police were cool and have seen me before In town. They invited me for drinks . I hear some people never get a visit. It's the luck of the draw.
I don't use that immigration office but my one definitely do check. This year I started doing 90 day reports online and have had 2 visits 6 months apart
