TLDR : Answer Summary
The user inquired about the necessary accommodation information required for a 90-day Non-O Visa application in Thailand, specifically mentioning they would stay in a hotel for the first week and did not yet know the address of a condominium they would move to afterward. Community responses indicated that providing the hotel address should suffice for the visa application. However, they also stressed the importance of reporting accommodation details to immigration, especially when moving to a private residence like a condo, which requires submitting a TM30 form. The conversation reflected on general immigration enforcement in Thailand, with several users sharing personal experiences regarding compliance with local laws.

Thanks for the Infos. Maybe my question was not clear I guess. Duration of stay is required in the visa application. But as mentioned so far I only know the first 7 days. After that I will move to a Condo Which I don’t know yet. Is the first accommodation address good enough?

Bernd Mergner I know about this cuz i almost got fined after moving to a house after staying in hotel. Its good I knew the immergration officer and he didn't fine me or now my ex wife! Thai laws are very strict and as a guest you find out very quickly how they enforce them. It seems like free contry until the rules are broken! I knew a man married to a thai decided he not want to report himself. He got blacklisted and deported! Never to return to Thailand! Its seems like paradise until rules are broken and wind up in IDC in bkk! Follow the rules and enjoy your stay!

Bob D'Andrea as I mentioned before all hotels in thailand submit a tm30 for you but a resadance you must self report. Before military co took over it didn't matter but rule is enforced. Matter fact there was alot of forgives back 11 years ago working as teacher. They used to turn a blind eye to it now some serious punishments have been imposed.

Just put your first intended hotel in your visa application. You won't need to work about tm30 until you're 1yr extension. You can get a certificate of residency for opening a bank account with a hotel address.

You must repot to immergration of where you stay. In a hotel they do it for you. A privet resadance you have to fill out a form I think called tm-30 each time your in a privet resadance such as a condo. Thailand has been cracking down on this. It used to not matter. I like Thailand will go for visit but not live there anymore. Immergration makes things difficult sometimes and 90 day checheck in get annoying especially boxer runs! I lived there 8.7 years. Loved the people and food is spicy but tasty. Also if you do not self report prepare to pay fines if caught!
