TLDR : Answer Summary
The user's inquiry revolves around the house visit conducted by immigration as part of the NoN O marriage extension process. Responses indicate that the visit is generally informal, often involving questions about the relationship, residency time in Thailand, and verification of the marriage's authenticity. Some users reported that immigration agents did not enter their homes, but merely held discussions outside. Variations in the occurrence and depth of the visits may depend on the location of the application, with reports suggesting that places like Bangkok might have different practices.

many Indian and Russian people get married to get married visa now immigration know this and want to check legitimate marriage and not divorced nothing to be concerned about if 100%
For us they showed up about a week after we applied and talked to my mother in law. They asked: Where am I from. Where did we get married. How much time we spend in Thailand. Basic bullshit. Then they asked a neighbor some of the same stuff.
Funny thing is my mother in law got a few questions wrong and the immigration guy just laughed.
They never even went in our house. Sat on the porch the whole time.
