If you've been here for 8 months... and going away for 3..... that's 11 months.
If you come back before 12 months get a Single Entry Prtmit. If it's longer than 12 months... Yes.. looks like a start again. Check with your Immigration office anyway..
Hope youve got your wife a visa to go to England as she can’t just tow up at the airport n get on a flight to England ,, as for yourself a re entry permit , quicker to do at the airport
Just buy a re-entry permit to keep your existing extension of stay alive, you'll need to return before your current stay expires or you'll have to start the visa/extention process over again
Joni1828 if I understand you correctly, you have paermition to stay, until august 2026, and then have to renew it for another 12 month.
You can ask for your next extension about 1 month before your current extension run out. (Your next 12 month, will start at the end of your current, so you do not loose any, by a playing early) When you get your new extension, you can ask for a Re entry permit at the same time and can then go out of the country any time you like, and come back when you like. (As long as you are back in Thailand august 2027, for your 2027 extention.
