I am US citizen, with non-immigrant OA retirement Visa. I am on my second year and it expires October 15 2019. I am returning to the US today (I do have a re-entry permit dated for Oct 15 2019). When I return to Thailand in 6 weeks will they want to see a return flight out of Thailand? (I will be marrying in June and will have my required 400k baht in the bank well before the 3 months.) i will be staying long term after my return. Is my OA retirement Visa ok for not having a return flight? Should I bring my Yellow Book as proof of residency?
Thank you
TLDR : Answer Summary
The user, a US citizen with a non-immigrant OA retirement visa expiring on October 15, 2019, inquires about their re-entry into Thailand after returning to the US. They are concerned about whether they will need to show a return flight when they come back in six weeks and mention plans to marry in June. Responses indicate that upon re-entering Thailand with an OA long-stay visa, they should not be required to show proof of return flight or funds.
