If someone has an Ed visa, can their spouse (also foreigner) piggyback off of that visa? I know it's possible to piggyback off a nonB based on marriage, but I've never read anything either way for an Ed visa.

TLDR : Answer Summary
It is possible for a spouse to obtain a visa based on being a dependent of someone holding an Ed visa, provided that they meet the necessary requirements. However, the typical reference in such cases is the Non-O visa for dependents of foreigners working legally in Thailand.
NON-O RETIREMENT VISA RESOURCES / SERVICES
  • Go to the Retirement Visa Section for information on requirements, including age restrictions, financial requirements, and necessary documentation.
  • For immediate assistance, contact Thai Visa Centre directly via LINE at @ThaiVisaCentre or Email them.
  • Explore recent discussions by using the Non-O Retirement Visa tag in the search box at the top of the page.

There is no NonB based on marriage. It's Non-O (dependent to the foreigner who is working legally in Thailand)..

Being dependent to NonED holder is possible if meet all requirements. For example, here is the checklist for KL.

Thanks for the reply and the link. The dependent visa is what I meant, couldn't remember the exact term for it. :)
