What happens with regards to a non immigrant B visa if you wish to move jobs. Is it possible to keep the visa and just get a new work permit at a different place of work or must you get a new visa as well?
Many thanks in advance.

TLDR : Answer Summary
If you hold a non-immigrant B visa and wish to change jobs, your options depend on your current immigration status. If you are on a 90-day stamp or an extension of stay due to employment, you may be required to obtain a new work permit through your new employer. If you're on an extension based on your current job, you can cancel it with your current employer's documents and apply for a new extension with your new employer's documentation. However, if your visa or stamp is linked to your current employer, a change is not possible without acquiring a new visa.
If you're on an extension of stay, you can cancel the one you're on with documents from your current employer and apply for a new extension with documents from your new employer.
If you're on the 90 day stamp from the Non-B VISA and the name of the company is written on the visa or the 90 day stamp you can't change it

Yes, that was my case. I successfully obtained my spouse visa in December after having a 60 day extension to my non immigrant multi O, thanks to the advice on how his forum. I also have the work permit too. The Q above is not for me but is an enquiry for one of my friends. Impressed with your detective skills James💪
