I am on DTV. On first entry I stayed in a hotel then got a condo.
I am currently out of Thailand and will be back in a few weeks.
If the IO asks about my accommodation, Can I mention that I have got a condo on an annual lease? And show if the lease document if asked.
Or rather, I should do a hotel booking and cancel it later.
What people are doing usually?
I am sure they hardly ever ask for accommodation, but just in case.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The original poster is concerned about providing accommodation details to immigration upon re-entry to Thailand on a DTV (Dual-Entry Tourist Visa). They inquire whether they should mention their condo on an annual lease and present the lease document if asked, or instead, book a hotel and cancel it later. The community consensus indicates that it is usually unnecessary to worry about this issue, as many have successfully re-entered Thailand without being asked about their accommodation. Most commenters suggest that providing the condo address should suffice, and it's not a problem to have a rental on a tourist visa.
I think you are too worried about what somebody said on a post and you’re not saying that somebody got denied entry for or anything so it’s like you keep asking everybody about this and it’s kind of wasting everyone’s time
Because of many people have told you it’s not a problem, but you keep wanting to argue at this point that you heard about it somewhere so maybe you should just not come if you’re not scared of it, I mean, I see five different answers that it’s not a problem, but you keep pushing the issue for some reason and you haven’t mentioned that anyone has been denied entry so if nobody’s been denied entry don’t worry about it
Ive always rented condos on TR visas. Take a shot of the contract and take the agents number with you so the IO can talk to the Thai agent if need be but it shouldnt be necessary
Why they going to ask ?? You not see all the post here people just come in no questions. Are you a criminal or scammer ?? There is no law against having accomodation you have a 5 year multi entry visa. If they ask questions just smile politely and say thank you. You don't have ti answer sh@#$it
Okay, someone mentioned in a different post that it increases suspicion that you are living here on a glorified tourist visa if you mention your condo, car or girlfriend to the IO.
Anonymous participant DTV is a glorified tourist visa. I have been in and out a few time now, and stayed in lots of different places each time. Never been asked about it. I don’t think I ever will
Anonymous participant Yeh right rubbish same as the tax is coming in but now they are rescinding this because it is stoping investment from foreign money and reducing 60 day to 30 days visa exempt not going to happen also. Don't believe everything you see here. All this is from people who were visa exempt and do border runs so long they are all scared of immagration officers but they can't do sh##$it you have a multi entry 5 year visa enjoy your life here don't listen just do what you like
You can just tell them the address where you are staying of the condo I doubt they will ask more or if it’s rented etc and I don’t think it matters there’s no law against renting a condo on TR visa.
I have read other' posts. People mentioned that having a condo in Thailand, raises suspicion that you are living here on DTV (Technically a tourist visa.)
Anonieme deelnemer Although the DTV is not meant to live in Thailand, as long as you comply with all visa requirements, like remote work, soft power activity, 500K in your bank account and leave after 180 days or extend and then leave after 180 days, you can reapeat this for 5 years.
Just stay where you want as long as TM30 is done within 24 hours of changing address and TM47 reporting when staying longer than 90 days in a row.
