Is it possible to switch a non-b to a non-o without leaving the country?

A friend of mine had a job offer that initially got him a non b visa, over the course of the three months he had a baby and the job offer fell through.

Any advice would be appreciated.

Are you married to a Thai?

Or father named on a Thai child's birth certificate?

He will need to go to Thai immigration for sure before his current permission to stay expires next week.

It might be best to ask for a 60 days COVID extension...

Then at end of it...

If no job...seek a 60 days family visit extension...

Followed by Non O as support of Thai child...

Which will require 400,000 Thai baht in his name only Thai bank account.

Key question today is whether he is on a legal extension of stay from his Non B job..

Which he left some time ago ???

I wish him Good Luck

Get to Thai Immigration ASAP.

Gonna be difficult if your not married. They frown upon people that have kids and don't get married. Try that get registered as soon as possible.
