I am on Non O marriage visa (non Thai) and plan to look for a teaching job (University or school). Is there any chance to change my visa to non B without leaving the country? Thanks

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is currently on a Non-O marriage visa and is inquiring about the possibility of changing to a Non-B visa for teaching purposes without exiting Thailand. A comment suggests that the user would need to cancel their current visa, obtain a 60-day Covid extension, and then, if the employer meets documentation requirements, they could apply for a 90-day Non-B visa from within Thailand.

I believe you are on a Non-O visa/extension based on the fact you're married to another foreigner who lives/works here legally. You would have to cancel the extension you're on now, get a 60 day covid extension and then IF your employer could meet the documentation requirements inside the country at the immigration office you could apply for a 90 day Non-B visa

thank you! Do you have more info on this: IF your employer could meet the documentation requirements inside the country? Where I can find some info about these requirements? Who will make a decision - my employer and the labor office or immigration?

@Tat****
you talk to your employer and/or the immigration office that you will use.

The immigration office will decide IF the documents from your employer will work in country or not.
