Hi. I have a Thai work permit in my current passport and I am in the UK for a visit. I want to get a new passport whilst I'm here. Can I just show old and new passport when I return to Thailand?

Answer summary

The user is in the UK with a Thai work permit and is considering obtaining a new passport. They are asking if they can show both the old and new passport upon returning to Thailand. The comments clarify that while the work permit is not in the passport, it is suggested to ensure proper visa transfer procedures when getting a new passport, as work permits and visas are typically handled separately.

I think you mean visa in passport.

There is no workpermit in passport.

Ask the one that make the new one to add a paper so you get visa transfered from old to new at immigration.

Why not passport at UK embassy in BKK
