Answer summary

Yes, you can return to Thailand with a new passport by carrying your old passport that contains your visa stamp. It is important to ensure that your visa is still valid and to present both passports to immigration upon returning. You may also need to acquire a re-entry permit before leaving Thailand if you wish to maintain your visa status.
