Can I recover the 15 days lost to ASQ quarantine on a tourist visa in Thailand?
I arrived in thailand may 8th with a tourist visa, today is final day of ASQ quarantine I was under the impression I would have the 90 days with a extra 15 days (105 days) due to mandatory quarantine is there anyways to get back these wasted 2weeks.
Answer summary
The user inquired about recovering 15 days thought to be lost due to ASQ quarantine after arriving in Thailand with a tourist visa. Responses clarified that the additional 15 days only apply to those entering on a visa-exempt entry, while the user was on a regular tourist visa, which allows for a 60-day stay that can be extended by 30 days at an immigration office for a fee.

The "extra 15 days" you're mentioning was only approved for people entering on a visa exempt entry <- showing up here without having bought a visa. That went from a 30 day stamp to a 45 day one.

Nope... Not possible to get back the 15 quarantine days as you were on a tourist visa.

you were mis-informed. Entering on a regular tourist visa stamps you in for 60 days <- look at the small red entry stamp you got when you entered the country.
You can extend that for 30 more days at the immigration office for 1900baht (that's what gives you the 90 days in country off a tourist visa)
