OK, here we go. I got a 60 day visa and I got a 30 day extension. I have to leave Thailand by the 30th of April. I'm headed to Northern Thailand and across to Laos for 2-3 days and planned on re-entering Thailand on the 28th. Is this possible? Am I able to get another 30 days? I will need to do another run to Myanmar at the end of May then somewhere in June. All info and options are welcome. Thank you.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user currently has a 60-day tourist visa with a 30-day extension and plans to travel to Laos, re-entering Thailand before the expiration. They seek advice on whether they can obtain another 30-day period upon re-entry and discuss potential options and restrictions based on their nationality.

Thank you. I will try to get a new 30 day entry and extend at immigration on samui at the end of May. Then a Myanmar run.

You can leave by land border the end of April, on return you get 30 day Visa Exempt Entry which you can extend for another 30 days so that brings you till end of June and than do the same route again or leave end of April apply for a new tourist visa, come back get 60 days and extend this with the 30 days.

My return flight to USA leaves Bangkok July 5th. I need to figure out how to stay legal until then via visa runs etc.

Joseph Michael Pedro III You wont get an METV in Laos unless you're a citizen or have residency in the country

You can re enter from Laos and recieve a 30 day visa exempt stamp which you can extend for a further 30 days, or apply for a SETV whilst in Laos and get stamped in for 60 days when you re enter

I came in on a 60 visa and go a 30 day extension. Does any of that matter? Or just cross before exit date and cross back over for an additional 30 days?

And depending on country of origin of your passport you can only do 2 border runs a calendar year, check yourself:
