The user inquires about the possibility of obtaining a new 60-day visa in Laos after their current 60-day visa expires on May 9. A commenter suggests that while the user can skip the 30-day extension, it is a viable option for 1900 baht. No obligation to take the 30 day extension BUT if your objective is to stay here, why not take the 30 days for 1900baht,
After that if you want to you can slog on up to one of the consulates in Lao (Savannakhet/Vientiane) and get a new tourist visa.
I mean what is your reasoning in not taking the 30 day extension?
I go uk 1st Aug for 2 month...so my thinking is go Loas get 60day till early July then extend with the 30... then leave..right or wrong u think? just I get the 90days after my return from loas... which takes me to August
you need to check their website. They states the processing time is two working days NOT including application day. If you apply for your visa on Friday, you will get a visa on next Tuesday if no national holidays
