Looking at a 60day visa on line in my country. If I get a single entry ONLY and decide in country to take a side trip, can I get a single re-entry there without losing my 60 day visa? Logic would say yes. Thanks for the help.

TLDR : Answer Summary
Yes, you can obtain a single re-entry permit while on a 60-day visa in Thailand. This allows you to take a trip outside of Thailand without losing your original visa duration. When you return, you will be stamped in for the remaining days of your initial 60-day visa.

Be sure to have a TM30 address registration already on file with the Thai Immigration office when you apply for the 30 days extension of stay.

YES you can get a single re-entry permit for travel outside of Thailand during the initial 60 days that you are STAMPED in for on arrival into Thailand.

When you return from your trip outside of Thailand, you are STAMPED in for the remaining days left in the original 60 days STAMP.
