Hello partners. I have a question.

I have a sixty-day tourist visa single entry

Expires on the 17 of June.

If I do the 60 days.

I leave and enter again before 17 of june, they would give me 60 more days previous payment at the airport for the re- entry?. T.I.A.

TLDR : Answer Summary
A single-entry tourist visa allows you to stay in Thailand for 60 days, starting from your entry date. If you leave Thailand, your visa will be considered used, and you cannot re-enter for another 60 days without applying for a new visa. Although some people suggest getting a 30-day extension at an immigration office, this does not apply after exiting the country on a single-entry visa. To stay longer, you would need to obtain a new visa or have a re-entry permit before leaving.

60 days count starts from the day you enter into Thailand.

For Example... If you enter Thailand on April 1st then you will allow to stay in Thailand until May 30th only.

Even though you take Multiple Re-entry or single Re-entry before you exit... you were allowed only upto your initial 60th day which is May 30.

What part of "single entry" was not clear? ๐Ÿง

many people on single entry visas think that a re-entry permit will give them a new entry stamp when they exit/re-enter,

it's a common mistake of how re-entry permits (sold AFTER you have a visa) work

How many times a year can you request a 60-day simple entry visa?

that is between you and the consulate you apply at.

Some consulates now have a "one and done" policy where if you get a single entry tourist visa from them you can't get another one from that consulate for a good while (6+ months to a year)

You can get a 30 day extension of stay at your local Thai Immigration office for 1900 Thai baht. The 30 days is ADDED to your current ending date of the 60 day stamp you received on arrival.

THESE are the common found requirements for the 30 days extension of stay. Be sure to have a TM30 address registration on file with Thai Immigration.

That visa lets you enter thailand ONE time and get stamped in for 60 days. It is USED when you do that, and if you leave you cancel your entry stamp.

A re-entry permit doesn't let you stay any longer than your current stamp is valid for. It just lets you leave/come back and get the same expiration date as you had before
