Can I get a re-entry permit for my 90-day Non-B visa to make a second entry before it expires?

Just want to confirm this.

If I have a 90 day Non-B visa (single entry), I can simply go to the immigration or the airport for a Reentry permit (single-use) so that the Non-B visa is still valid for a second entry before the visa expiry date, correct? I have to travel once during the 90 days, and I assume this is the best solution. Thanks

TLDR : Answer Summary
Yes, if you have a 90-day Non-B visa (single entry) and you want to travel outside Thailand during your visa validity, you can obtain a single-use reentry permit either at an immigration office or at the airport before you leave. This will allow you to return to Thailand without invalidating your visa. Just remember that the visa will be considered used after the first entry, but the reentry permit allows your stay to continue until the original expiry date.

The visa is used and is no longer valid as it was single entry. You would have been stamped to stay until xyz date. To keep that date alive you can buy a re-entry permit. On return you’ll be stamped in to stay until xyz date.

ah so the stamp date is what matters.

I have to re enter with the re entry permit before the stamp date is past. Thanks
