If you hold a multiple entry e-visa NON-OA, you do not need to apply for a re-entry permit to re-enter Thailand as long as you return on or before the "visa must be used by" date on your eVisa. However, if you want to stay beyond the initial entry and have remaining days on your visa after that date, you will need to obtain a re-entry permit before leaving Thailand. It’s important to note that for the first year of having the OA visa, it is a multiple entry visa; after that period, a re-entry permit is required.
