Hi, I have to leave the country soon. My question is: can I go out and come back in the same day.

I found a flight that arrive in Malaysia at 11pm and go back to Thailand at 4pm. 

Is it ok to do that ?

 I know they have some bus tour visa that do the same, you pay 3500 bath to go Cambodia and come back the same day. 

But is it ok do to the same but alone?

if they’re going back out then in the same day they will most likely be on visa exemption

I did it a year ago. I had a ME non O Thai wife visa. Flew to HCMC, got off the plane turned around and got on the next one back to BKK. I was only in Vietnam for a couple of hours

No rule prohibits you from leaving and entering Thailand on the same day.

As long as you can enter Thailand, you can do a one-day trip from/to Thailand on your own. Just remember, approval of your entry is at the discretion of the office when you enter Thailand again.
