Hi all,

I’m looking to do a border bounce in a few days. I’m currently on a Multi Entry Tourist Visa from the UK. I’m planning on flying from Phuket to Kuala Lumpur and back again. Ideally I would like to do this in the same day. Will this be a problem? Is it possible to run into issues with immigration flying in and out on the same day? Do I at least need to stay a night or 2?

Advice will be very much appreciated.

You shouldn't have any issue flying out and back on a valid METV, and there is no requirement you spend xxx time out of thailand on it.

well with METV's you're always better off bouncing by land because you are trying to max out a tourist visa 😮

BUT

With that being said about all they can ask you for is proof you're leaving in 60 days and proof of funds 20K baht or the equivalent in CASH.

I mean you have a valid visa to thailand and there is nothing against the rules using it for as many 60 day entries as you want during the validity
