Hi, I have booked go Thailand for 60 days - finding it impossible get Visa through on line site.

I would have a 5 hr journey there & back to nearest consulate.

If I go out on my passport & on day 30 fly out to say Cambodia will I get 30 day stamp on return ?

Thank you in advance.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user inquired if they could leave Thailand for a day after 30 days on a visa-exempt entry and return for another 30-day stay. Responses suggest that it's better to extend the initial stay for 1900 baht rather than leaving the country. However, if they opt to leave, they must have proof of onward travel. Users emphasized the importance of checking with the airline about the travel requirements.

, had a good comment. IF you're gonna come in on a 30 day visa exempt entry with proof of onward travel 60 days out make SURE you call your air carrier and see if you can do that. I'd hate for you to take my advice, get to the airport and NOT be allowed to check in because your proof of onward travel was too far out flying with no visa in your passport.

It certainly would. I was about to suggest Kuala Lumpur. Seems one of the cheapest options.

you can come in on a 30 day visa exempt entry and then just get a 30 day extension inside the country at the immigration office that serves where you'll be staying for 1900baht.

Sorry, it's a plain ticket to anywhere that you can show to prove onward travel withing the number of days you're initially allowed into the kingdom. Whether you use it or not is a different story. You might throw it in the trash and go get an extension of stay instead.

He might need a burner onward-ticket within 30 days, yeah? I mean most airlines would require that if travelling without a visa?

Where in the world are you and which on line site are you trying to use?

There are several programs on the internet who do this with easy steps for you,

Jesus christ, even the French and Chinese can use the simple E visa site. Read the manual that's in the top left hand corner of the log in page.

If you prepare the documents FIRST the whole application takes less than 10 minutes.

that online service is a f@@@ing nightmare! Im just grateful I live near the Liverpool consulate.

But, as others have said, 60 days is easy: 30day visa-free and extend for 1900. slightly more pricey than the original 60 day tourist visa but what the hey
