Sorry to be anonymous but any reason to think we can’t do a same day border bounce at Chiang Khong?

Hi, I have to leave the country soon. My question is: can I go out and come back in the same day.

I found a flight that arrive in Malaysia at 11pm and go back to Thailand at 4pm.

Is it ok to do that ?

I know they have some bus tour visa that do the same, you pay 3500 bath to go Cambodia and come back the same day.

But is it ok do to the same but alone?
