Hello

I will travel with a 60 day tourist visa to Thailand.

I can extend this by 30 days.

Can I, while or after the 90 days, apply for a 60 day tourist visa again, and extend this one too?

I was going to stay 3 months, but I'm curious if I could stay 6 months, this way.

TIA

TLDR : Answer Summary
The poster inquires about the possibility of reapplying for a 60-day tourist visa after extending their initial visa, aiming to potentially extend their stay in Thailand to six months. According to community responses, to apply for a new tourist visa, one must exit Thailand and apply at a nearby consulate, like those in Laos or Malaysia. Alternatively, obtaining a multiple-entry tourist visa before traveling allows for multiple stays of 60 days with extensions.

How long did it take for your 60 day tourist visa to get approved?

they asked me for proof of booking/place to stay for at least half that period, after a week of applying. Then I had to wait about 4 weeks to get the confirmation. So about 5 weeks in total.

You would need to leave the country and go to the Thai consulate in a neighboring country like Laos, Malaysia, etc and apply for a new tourist visa there. None of the Thai consulates in SE Asia participates in evisa so you'll have to apply in person.

You could also apply for a multiple entry tourist visa from your home country before going to Thailand and this visa is valid for 6 months. Each time you enter Thailand during this 6 months you'll receive a 60 day stamp and can apply for a 30 day extension each time as well.

can you extend by 30 days after the 6 months?

if your current 60 day stamp goes past the date on the end of the visa applying for an extension is no problem.

If you can time it right and get a new 60 day entry just before it expires and you extend this you can get almost 9 months from it
