TLDR : Answer Summary
The discussion revolves around whether one can repeatedly use the 60-day visa exemption for tourism in Thailand. Opinions suggest that it's generally possible to do so as long as the immigration officers do not perceive someone as overstaying or abusing the tourist visa scheme. Some users recommend visiting another country briefly to reset the entry count, while others caution that each situation may vary based on the traveler's history and the immigration officer's discretion.

Yes if you just do 90 days twice there's no issue.

the answer is YES, you can
The other answer is, if Immigration on each 60-days visa-exempt entry will ask you for a proof that you will leave Thailand within this 60-days period
We heard one report, and we are following
Nobody can tell with certainty, yet, because the 60-days visa exempt is relatively new. It got introduced on July 15 th, 2024

I’d hate to be living with the uncertainty of whether an immigration officer is going to let me back in Thailand every time I try to do a border run. But I guess it works for some.
What incentive does an immigration officer have to deny a foreign tourists to come into the country and spend money?? If you give them reason to suspect that your NOT a genuine tourist, then you'll need to start to worry...

I think there was a post on here if not go on YouTube there a video where you pay to do a day trip to leave Thailand and get re entry stamp witch give you a new 60 day visa then pay again for extension and repeat

Maybe. It will mostly depend on your history

Just asking , will my airline let me book a 90 day return please , thanks
for the last 7 years I've been booking 90 day return tickets and never had a single problem or enquiry with flights or immigration, if you're in the UK I would also recommend Dial-a-Flight for your tickets 👍
I dont think so, if you come into Thailand on the new 60 day visa exempt and have a departure date for 90 days time then immigration will know that you intend to get the extra 30 days you're allowed and wont question you, if you dont have any departure date then that could be a problem, hope this helps and enjoy your time in Thailand ❤🇹🇭
it is only 1,900 Bath for a 30 day extension and I can do it on the net?

Going out of Thailand is a bigger waste of both time and money, and fewer borderpassings is an advantage, since that is where they will tell you, that you won’t get a new visa excempt.
And when you are inside they can’t deny you entry, but only give you a week or so to leave.
