I entered Thailand on a METV on 19 Nov 2021 and was stamped in until 17 Jan 2022. I then got my 30 day extension and was stamped in until18 Feb 2022. Due to the uncertainty about Covid extensions I returned to CW on the last day they were being granted and was given the extension until 26 Mar 2022. I'm on a UK passport with flights booked home to the UK on the 30 April 2022. I've been undergoing some major dental work over the past two years or so here and last week I had 4 new implants put in and my Dental surgeon says he is willing to issue me with a sick note and the Hospital issue me with an official letter saying I need to remain a few more weeks to ensure my implants have taken properly before I can return in October 2022 to get the teeth fitted. That is hopefully good news but I'm asking if it it also still possible that CW will grant me the addition few weeks I need without this as I'm a bit confused about whether or not "Covid" extensions are still being granted on METV's. Any advise or comments will be gratefully received.
TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is inquiring about the possibility of obtaining a further extension on their METV visa in Thailand due to ongoing dental work and the potential for a medical letter from their dentist. They have previously extended their stay due to COVID regulations and are seeking clarity on whether additional extensions are still granted under these circumstances.
