Can I get a COVID extension stamp after my 30-day extension on a 60-day tourist visa in Thailand?
Hi, I’m coming up for my 30day extension on my 60day tourist visa, I was wondering if I could get a covid stamp on completion or nearing the end of my 30 days?
Answer summary
The ability to obtain a COVID visa extension after your 30-day extension on a 60-day tourist visa depends on the discretion of the immigration office handling your case. Some offices require you to take the 30-day extension first before allowing a COVID extension, while others may allow you to apply directly for the COVID extension without the initial 30 days. It's best to directly ask the immigration office when you apply for your extension.

Whether you can or can't go directly to the 60 day covid extension rather than take the regular 30 day extension you would normally get is between you and the immigration office you deal with. SOME are making people take the 30 day extension and then when that runs down they let them get the covid extension BUT other offices will let you apply for the 60 day covid extension without taking the 30 day one first.
SO, while it's not a cop out answer, the real answer is ASK your immigration office when you're there applying for the extension ;)

you're out nothing by asking when you go to the immigration office IF you can get the 60 day covid extension, so give it a shot, all they can say is no AND seeing as the covid extension program is now running at least until July 29th you could probably get your 30 day extension AND then apply for a 60 day covid one after that :) George ******
