Hi! If my non-b visa is cancelled, is there an option to get a 7 day temporary extension after the cancellation? If yes, what is it called? I can’t seem to find info about it but am pretty sure I heard about this. Please advise! Thanks!

TLDR : Answer Summary
If your Non-B visa is cancelled, there is no option to apply for a 7-day temporary extension. Instead, you can apply for an extension of stay, which will likely be refused. However, this may result in receiving a stamp that grants you 7 days to leave the country, starting from the date you receive the stamp.

There's no such thing as a 7 day extension which you can apply for. What you do is apply for an extension of stay which will be refused and you might then get a stamp giving you 7 days to leave the country. The 7 days will begin on the day you get the stamp and you have no option but to leave within the 7 days

firstly, are you on the initial 3 month visa, or have you extended for a year at immigration?

it's an extension of stay done at Immigration, but we only get 3-months at a time due to being a Foundation.

no issue at all applying for the 7 day "application for extension not approved" stamp once you cancel the current extension of stay, it's the same price as any other extension 1900baht and will give you a week to get out of thailand.

SOME offices want you to show proof you're leaving in a week before they will sell that stamp to you

ok, you cancel this extension then ask for the "extension denied, 7 days to leave Thailand stamp" and pay the 1900B fee
