I got job offer in school. I am currently holding ED visa which wi expire on March 2022. Here are some things I concern;
▪️Do I need to cancel my ED visa?
▪️Which visa can I get during process of changing visa type?
▪️Do I need to go home to make Business visa?
I hear that there is Covid-19 visa.
▪️Can I apply Covid-19 visa immediately after cancelling my ED visa in immigration?
Please kindly suggest !Thank you all 😊

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is transitioning from an ED visa to a work visa due to a job offer at a school and has several concerns about the visa process. Key points raised include the need to cancel the current ED visa, options for temporary visas during the transition, implications of Covid-19 on visa applications, and whether the user needs to leave Thailand to obtain a Business visa.
You get documentation from your school stating you stop studying on xxx date, you go to the immigration office a few weeks before that date, cancel the extension you're on and then (if it's before Nov 26th) immediately apply for a 60 day covid extension.
Now whether you can get an in country Non-B visa issued at the immigration office you use is between you, the company you will work for and the immigration office you deal with.
You need to be talking to your future employer to see if they can get a 90 day Non-B visa issued from a covid extension.
