I usually extend in Bangkok. Am I allowed to extend in Si Sa Ket, if yes, will this be a good idea or should I go back to Bangkok to extend my tourist stamp?

Thanks in advance

TLDR : Answer Summary
The post discusses whether one can extend their tourist visa in Si Sa Ket instead of returning to Bangkok. It confirms that as long as the individual is registered with a TM30 at their current address and holds a valid extension, they can apply for a new 60-day extension at any immigration office in Thailand. However, caution is advised if there is an 'Under Consideration' stamp, as this may require them to remain at the location of the extension application until it's resolved.

Okay, the O/P already got the :loop closed" from their under consideration stamp and are on the actual extension. :)

That means seeing as it was a tourist visa they entered on and as a rule tourists TOUR, they can apply for a new 60 day extension where ever they happen to be staying IN thailand.

SO
@De**
, IF you're staying in Isaan (and the place they stay at files a TM30 on them) you shouldn't have any problem applying for the 60 day extension there.

BUT

Remember, like
@Ja***
said, IF you get the under consideration stamp up there, you're stuck and need to stay up there until you get the "loop closed". :O

You extend at the immigration office where your address is registered with a TM30.

What extension do you now have ?

Ending date?

Is it an Under Consideration Stamp ?

it’s valid until 30 December. This is a 60 days stamp. First 2 weeks under consideration, then I got back to extend it.

I was planning to go to Isaan, but then I’ll just come back to
