Hello everyone, so i went to Si Racha immigration 2 days ago and extended my 60 day Tourist Visa 30 days. My thai fiancée just had to fill out some forms of where we were staying and show paper work of the lease. I'm traveling to bangkok and will be staying in a hotel for the next 2-3weeks since I'm doing tons of paper work to claim my Thai new born baby / having to make appointments at the u.s. embassy for alot of notarized documents needed. Will I be able to apply for the 60 day covid extension which ends on July 29th ? If so are there any requirements needed and will I be able to go to chang wattana or do I need to apply back in si racha ?

You apply for the 60 day covid extension where you stay.

SO if you're staying in Bangkok (and can prove it) you can apply for a covid extension at Chaengwattana Immigration office Counter J <- the counter that people with tourist visas use for extension.

BUT

keep in mind, when you apply for a covid extension (especially in bangkok) you will get a 14 day "under consideration" stamp and then have to go back to that same immigration office to get the "loop closed" <- have the covid extension inked in.

That means if you're not gonna be here in bangkok 2 weeks after you apply for the covid extension, just wait and do it back where you live at your Sri Racha immigration office
