Can I get a Covid extension after my Non-O visa is canceled due to divorce in Thailand?

Hello everyone.

A lot happened due to Covid 19. Family members and also a lot of money were lost.

In short me and my ex wife got divorced 2 days ago but I can t really leave Thailand right away as my home country is in a bad situation. I also over-stayed my visa 10 days as my ex insisted on getting divorced before I leave and everything happened so fast. I entered Thailand on Non-o Based on marriage. I know that it gets cancelled after the divorce but

is there any chance I can get at least a 30 days Covid extension? Or at least 2 weeks? I need this time to prepare my flight and everything else since I m in a financial pinch until next week. I don't want to mess with the Immigration authorities so any advice is priceless. I can pay the over stay but I want to know what to expect at the office tomorrow. Thanks

TLDR : Answer Summary
A person facing visa issues in Thailand after a recent divorce on a Non-O visa seeks advice about obtaining a Covid extension due to extenuating circumstances. They mention an overstay of 10 days and express concern about how to handle the situation with immigration authorities, seeking at least a short extension to prepare for their departure.

>I know that [The non-O visa] gets cancelled after the divorce but is there any chance I can get at least a 30 days Covid extension?

1. Did you get an extension of stay based on marriage to a Thai national?

2. Is the divorce finalized? If so, when was it finalized?

>I also over-stayed my visa 10 days

How do you know you're on overstay?

>is there any chance I can get at least a 30 days Covid extension? Or at least 2 weeks?

There is no "30 day extension of stay based on unable to travel due to COVID-19". There is a "60 day extension of stay based on unable to travel due to COVID-19" however. The last day they are selling this extension is tomorrow.

3. I know I over stayed as my stamp was 16 January 2021 and I m ready to pay for the days until tomorrow.

I will go tomorrow to Muang Thong Thani. I will have my letter from the Embassy today as I spoke with them and explained the situation

The letter for covid extension. Every post about this 60 days extension says that we need a letter from our Embassies which states the exceptional circumstances regarding corona virus pandemic

The letter from the embassies, OR a screen shot from the embassy website saying they don't issue the letter, can be in English.
